We recommend that you should always try to book your charter as far in advance as possible, particularly if your dates are not flexible and you have a specific boat in mind for your holiday. December through April is the busiest time of year for most charter companies; these months generally are book up well in advance. During summer months the yachts with Air Conditioning are always more popular. If you do wait until the last minute, try to make sure your choice of boat and dates are flexible and we should be able to find a yacht suitable for you. Rates are seasonal “so dates are critical “and the number of people in your party will have a significant relevance on the yacht or yachts we might recommend.

Once you have decided on your dates, and the yacht you would like, proceeding is simple. Just let us know what you would like to book, your preferred charter dates and the number of guests onboard by filling out our booking form provided.

We will then get working on your behalf in checking on availability and getting you the best deal to suit your needs. Once we’ve established availability on your choice for your vacation dates, an option will be placed on the boat for you. *Note*An option is a tentative booking which is usually held for 5 to 7 days, allowing time for you to book your flights and send your deposit payment. The duration of your option depends on how soon your dates are coming up and the individual charter company policies.

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE

In order to secure the booking all charter companies require that you put down a deposit, usually 25% or 50% of the charter fee. Your deposit is due within 7 days of receiving your contract. If you wish to purchase cancellation insurance, you will need to include the additional amount with your payment as noted by that company. Your final payment is normally 45 days before the start of your charter, and we will send you an email and a final invoice to remind you.

HOW DO YOU MAKE PAYMENT?

You can pay by credit card, US personal check, cashier’s check or wire transfer. If paying by credit card please keep in mind there is a 3% surcharge, and let your bank know we will be processing the transaction. Advise our office, or ask us to email you a credit card form. We can only accept Visa or MasterCard. If paying by wire transfer, ensure you wire enough money to cover any bank charges that may be incurred. If sending a personal or a cashier’s check please mail to the following address: GoSailing Inc, PO Box 3098, Road Town, Tortola, VG1110, British Virgin Islands.
